Well, we finally made it over to England in the fall of 2025!
We’re primarily here to visit my family on my grandmother’s side and meet all those people who I have often heard about, but haven’t met until this trip and it was really fun to meet up with everyone.
Besides meeting the family, we’re doing some of the standard tourist stuff which also includes renting a narrowboat to travel along the canals in England.
Where on earth did we get the idea to do this? From watching all the videos on Youtube and in any case, it also made practical sense to do so, as it saves you from having to look for hotels and check in/out everywhere along the way. It also turns out to be a great way to see the local sights, pubs and villages in the beautiful English countryside.
I’ve taken over 1320 pictures while in England and have edited them down to these 222. Since there is such a large volume of images, I have put them into groups to make it easier for you to see.
As part of the artistic process, you may see the same image a couple of times, but they’ll each have different filters applied to them and therefore each image will have its own unique essence and feel to it. I’ll let you decide which ones you like better as I had a really long time in trying to decide.
If you’re viewing these images on a PC, there’s a little icon at the bottom right of the slider which allows you to see a larger image based on your screen size 🙂
